GAMING ORIGINS
mitr0 grew up playing video games and also played football when he was younger but stopped when he got older. He began playing Fortnite soon after its release thanks to the encouragement of one of his friends but initially disliked it. However, a month later, he decided to give it another chance and he was soon hooked.
He is currently being homeschooled.
PROFESSIONAL GAMING
He originally started uploading occasional CoD: Black Ops III content to his YouTube channel in December 2015. After grinding at Fortnite for months, he was invited to compete in the Blitz Showdown in June 2018. There, he placed third and managed to win some money from it. He was signed on with Team Atlantis that same month and started streaming on Twitch at the end of July 2018. This, as well as his winning money in other tournaments, gave his mother the peace of mind to allow him to transition to online schooling so that he would be able to grind his skills and participate in more events.
He remained with them until the end of September 2019. During that time, he competed in various tournaments, with his most notable being his performance with Mongraal in the Fortnite World Cup Duos Finals in 2019 where they placed sixth. However, his focus on the competitive play also affected his streaming, as he hardly streamed during 2019 and only got back into it in April 2020. However, he is still inconsistent. He then joined Team Liquid in January 2020 and has remained with them ever since.
INCOME
According to mitr0’s Twitch chat commands, he has 410 subscribers. Therefore, he should be earning at least $1,435 USD per month, excluding additional income from tiered subscriptions, donations, Twitch cheer bit donations, advertisements, sponsorships, his team salary, and tournament winnings. A Team Liquid co-owner stated that mitr0 receives an annual salary of $100,000 USD, while Esports Earnings puts his total tournament winnings at over $780,000 USD.
STREAMING HOURS
Inconsistent, because he prefers to focus on developing his skills and he finds chat distracting.
